How to Install IPTV in Minutes

Getting started with Norge IPTV 4K is easier than most people expect. The typical setup takes under five minutes from receiving your login details to watching TV. No technical background is needed – just a supported device and an ordinary internet connection.

Amazon Fire TV / Fire TV StickIPTV Smarters Pro

Fire TV is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to get started – the whole setup takes just a few minutes.

Open the app store on your Fire TV, search for "Downloader" and install it.
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and allow installs from unknown sources for Downloader.
Open Downloader, enter the download link we sent you on WhatsApp, and install IPTV Smarters Pro.
Open IPTV Smarters Pro and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API".
Enter the username, password and server URL you received on WhatsApp.
Wait for the channel list to load – then just start watching.

Apple TV is set up with an IPTV player from the App Store in a couple of minutes.

Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
Search for "Smarters Player Lite" and install the app.
Open the app and choose "Xtream Codes API" as the login method.

Wait for the channels, movies and series to load, then pick what to watch.

Samsung TV (Tizen)IPTV Smarters Pro

Most recent Samsung TVs have IPTV players right in the app store, so no extra box is needed.

Press the Home button on your remote and open Apps.
Search for "IPTV Smarters" and install the app.
Open the app and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API".
Enter the username, password and server URL you received on WhatsApp.
Load the channel list and save your favourite channels.

App availability varies by model year. If you can't find the app on your TV, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you with an alternative that works.

LG TV (webOS)IPTV Smarters Pro

LG TVs running webOS are set up directly through the LG Content Store – no extra hardware required.

Press the Home button and open the LG Content Store.
Search for "IPTV Smarters" and install the app.
Open the app and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API".
Enter the username, password and server URL you received on WhatsApp.
Wait for the channel list to load and you're good to go.

App names and availability vary by model year and region. If you can't find a suitable player, contact us on WhatsApp and we'll sort it out together.

Chromecast with Google TVIPTV Smarters Pro

Chromecast with Google TV works just like Android TV – everything installs from Google Play.

Open the Google Play Store from the Google TV home screen.
Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" and install the app.

This applies to Chromecast models with Google TV and a remote. Older Chromecast devices are used by casting from the mobile app instead.

Download IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows from the official Smarters website – or ask us for the download link on WhatsApp.
Run the installer and follow the setup wizard.
Open the app and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API".

Load the channel list and enjoy sports and movies in HD and 4K.

Formuler (MyTVOnline)MyTVOnline

Formuler boxes ship with MyTVOnline pre-installed and are widely considered the gold standard for IPTV.

Open MyTVOnline from the home screen of your Formuler box.
Select "Add Portal" to create a new connection.
Give the connection a name and enter the server URL you received on WhatsApp.
Enter your username and password.
Save and connect – the channel list and EPG load automatically.

Common issues and how to fix them

The app can't find any channels or content

Reload the playlist in the app and double-check that the server URL is entered exactly as we sent it. A single wrong character is enough to stop content from loading.

The picture stutters or buffers

Use a wired connection if you can, or connect your device to the router's 5 GHz band instead of 2.4 GHz. Restarting the router helps too, as does closing other apps and devices that are hogging bandwidth.

Your login is rejected

Check that the username and password are entered exactly right, with no spaces before or after. When copying from WhatsApp, an invisible trailing space often sneaks in.

The TV guide (EPG) is empty

Refresh the EPG manually in the app's settings and give it a couple of minutes. The first load can take a while, since the guide covers a very large number of channels.

The app crashes or freezes

Update the app to the latest version, or uninstall and reinstall it. Clearing the app's cache also helps, if your device offers that option.

You have a MAG box

Unfortunately, MAG boxes are not supported. We recommend an inexpensive Fire TV Stick or another supported device instead – ask us on WhatsApp and we will help you choose.

How long does setup take?

Most people are up and running in under five minutes. You install an app, enter the login details we sent you on WhatsApp and start watching.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. If you can install a regular app from an app store, you can do this. And if you do get stuck, we will guide you through it step by step on WhatsApp.

Can you help me with the setup?

Of course. Send us a message on WhatsApp and we will walk you through the whole installation. Support is available 24/7, in Norwegian and English.

Does it work on Samsung and LG TVs?

Yes. Both Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) are supported – you install an IPTV player app directly from the TV's own app store and sign in with the details we sent you.

Are MAG boxes supported?

No, MAG boxes are not supported. We recommend a Fire TV Stick, an Android TV box or another supported device instead. Message us on WhatsApp if you are unsure what to pick.

How many devices can I use?

Between one and four devices at the same time, depending on your plan. You can install the app on several devices and switch between them freely.

How fast does my internet need to be?

We recommend at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Almost any Norwegian broadband connection is more than fast enough – a stable line matters more than a blazing-fast one.
