Why do longer plans cost less per month?
It is not that you get less for your money on a short plan – the content is identical whatever the duration. The difference is that setting up, activating and looking after an account is a one-off job, whether the subscription runs for one month or twelve. Spread that work over a longer period and the cost per month falls, and we pass that on in the price.
A lower monthly price still does not mean a lock-in. You pay in advance for a period you have chosen yourself, and when it ends you are entirely free to renew, switch plan or simply stop. Nothing renews automatically, and we never store card details.
