Right of Withdrawal
Updated:
If you buy as a consumer in Norway, the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven) gives you rights when you shop at a distance. This page explains how those rules work at Norge IPTV 4K, including the important exception for digital content that is delivered immediately.
1. The 14-day right of withdrawal
When you enter into an agreement at a distance as a consumer — for example via WhatsApp — you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Cancellation Act. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, the period runs from the day the agreement is made.
Within that period, you can withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason.
2. The exception for instantly delivered digital content
The Cancellation Act makes an exception for digital content not supplied on a physical medium where delivery begins before the withdrawal period ends. The exception applies when you have expressly consented to delivery starting straight away and, at the same time, acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result.
Our subscriptions are activated within minutes of ordering. When you order on WhatsApp, we therefore ask for your express consent to immediate delivery and your confirmation that you understand the right of withdrawal lapses once access is activated. Without that consent, we do not start delivery until the withdrawal period has expired.
3. What this means in practice
So that you can make a safe decision, we offer a free 24-hour trial — no payment card required. Use it to test the channels, picture quality and stability on your own devices before you order anything.
There is no lock-in on our plans, and you choose for yourself whether to order 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
4. How to withdraw when the right applies
If you have not consented to immediate delivery, or delivery has not started for some other reason, you can withdraw within 14 days. Simply give us a clear, unambiguous message that you want to cancel — easiest in the same WhatsApp conversation you ordered in, or by email.
You may also use the standard withdrawal form published by the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), although this is not required. Include your name, the order date and the plan concerned, and we will handle your request quickly.
5. Refunds
If you exercise the right of withdrawal, we refund what you have paid without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your message.
The refund is made using the same payment method you used, unless we expressly agree otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fee for the refund.
6. Further guidance: the Norwegian Consumer Authority
You can read more about the Cancellation Act, its deadlines and the standard withdrawal form at forbrukertilsynet.no, where some material is also available in English.
If we cannot resolve a disagreement together, you can take the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Authority, which mediates in consumer disputes. This page is a simplified overview and does not replace the wording of the Act — in the event of any conflict, the Act prevails.
